Spend a bit of time looking at GFS models and long range forecasts.
Absolutely no change in weather likely as far as can be seen ahead. each high pressure system that tries to establish gets smashed out the way by yet another storm. sick of it now.
Was sick of it in Oct, if i didn't have a job that took me to other warmer places i couldnt live in the UK

We had half our average rainfall in November...

Since then we have had 5 months worth of rainfall In less than 3 months. February is already double its average here, with 9 days still to go!!
I've never seen the place in such a mess for such a prolonged period.

I did see (but annoyingly can't now find) a long range forecast saying March will be a lot drier and settled. So here's hoping they are right and I didn't dream it

I'm afraid they've been promising it coming better next month for the last 4 months. If they keep on at it eventually we will be into summer and they might actually be correct.
I really don't think they know. It's always the same generalised rhetoric... "The South and east are more likely to see any drier spells whilst the north and west may be wetter" DUH!! You don't say!!!
