Unfortunately I have heard on the grape vine that Dave 'Nogger' Norris past away on the 31st March.
I am sure there were a lot on here that enjoyed his blog, he certainly had a great sense of humour, the 'Noggers Dog' blog was always good for a laugh. His unique sense of humour and trade knowledge made a sometimes boring subject quite entertaining.

He did share about being ill at Christmas. Christmas chemo.

I always used his page as a guide to where the market was going.

Will miss it and his humour.

Feel sad even though I never knew him.

He had a great writing style and seemed completely independent which was refreshing.

Never met him but wish I had emailed him now. If anyone on here knows of a collection/ just giving page could you pm or put it on here?

Very sad to hear this news- I always enjoyed reading his reports and Noggers Dog always made me laugh with his totally irreverent sense of humour. Only checked his website the other night in the hope that there had been an update. My condolences to all his family and friends-he will be badly missed

Sad that Nogger has passed on. I had always wanted to meet him and have a chat, from what i heard from those who knew him he was a top guy.
Keeping up with ag news isnt as easy for the juicy bits. Nogger always knew what was happening and his blog combined with Farm Brief kept me up to date. I understand that Robert Bojuniak (spelling) who has also been unwell is to retire from producing Farm Brief. I for on will miss the publication.

I followed Nogger for several years and we exchanged various mails during that time. Like many here I would read his comments to get an edge over people based in the US who only came on line a few hours later.

A great loss to the ag community.

You have got to be kidding me, Nogger was a stalwart and I am very sad to hear this news. In addition to his industry info from memory I believe other topics of interest included:

Kim Kardashian (a frequent graphical aid)
Mrs Nogger (or iterations thereof? I cannot remember)
A well known garage door company of whom he discussed on less than glowing terms

Sadly missed.

Nogger's Dogs Blog is back and just as sweary and non-PC as ever.

In honour of Dave I've decided to resurrect the Dog's Blog, using his inimitable style where possible.

The main blog continues to this day to provide market data

I just can't actually comment on the trade itself for obvious reasons i.e. I haven't a clue what the Russkies are doing with their wheat planting.
