Norfolk train & tractor collision

I've met a few train and underground drivers that have been involved in such incidents - they spend the rest of their lives thinking "what if I'd done something different?" Some of the worst are the "one under" scenarios as the driver wilIl usually spot that someone is about to jump in front of them and there is nothing they can do to stop.
They are VERY well paid, if I remember correctly.
Considering the fact that are driving/controlling a train carrying potentially carrying up to 1000+
passengers at a time and have to have a complete knowledge of "the rule book" as well as the prospect of one under - their pay doesn't seem so astronomical.
