A few different people have cut silage this week around us. Anyone at it?

Couple of fields cut and some lifted last night on the road between Dromore and Omagh.

Mowed about 10 acre yesterday ground was better than expected. Hopefully get some baled tonight.

A field or two here and there and doesn't look pretty. Know of people dumping bales as they make them as too much clay in it.

Neighbour had the combine in we'd the bales out of the field before the combine...it's bad but it'll be used up

I helped off load some straw for a neighbour today, he was told it wasn't good, but at £42/bale (8x3x4) he thought he'd risk it.

At least one of the bales had steam rising from it and almost all had grass/barley sprouts growing from them, I didn't say anything but I think I would rather spend £80 on good quality stuff.

Mowed 18 acres of 3rd .4 or 5 bales/acre, all be needed. A lot of men round here going into wet ground for late 2nd cut today.

We had 93 bales off 12 acres. Wilted for 24hrs, no soil, double wrapped, bid me.
