I think I took Milk Fever, but thankfully not as bad as some. In all fairness there was some lovely stuff at the sale, I bought 4, but regret not brining back one special girl.

Some good stock there yesterday. Only we are down with Tb I’d of had one or two. What was the one special one? Reserve champion? I thought she was tidy and bought at handy enough money too!

What's "handy enough money"? They're making €1700/1800 at clearance sales down South.

I haven’t seen them being sold down south lately so can’t compare but some super stock yesterday was sold for cheap in my own opinion (£2000-2400. Are they pedigree stock your talking about down south?

I wouldn't be sure but it makes you feel better when you look at the tanker docket!

I wasn’t at the sale but reckon it’s shorter than lesser type heifers at 1600-1800

Not sure but I think you’d want to be getting her into at least her 4th lactation if you didn’t want to just be turning money

First time in Dungannon so nobody knew me, just kept the head down and bought what I wanted, within reason of course. From what I heard going on around me, there only seemed to be 5-6 consistent buyers, the rest must have been there for a day out.

Extra stock 2400-need extra ground-250- contractor needs more to draw it 20 miles-work harder- be later in- see less of family- ah but I have more cows than my neighbors now so I must be better off
