There’s a guy on Facebook farm theory think the page is called spreads all slurry with 1600 on big wheels says anything bigger is just compacting
He's probably not far wrong. We have a 2500 on 1200s, carries well and you get a bit done in a day. Lot of loads with a 1600 gallon yoke.

A man from Greenmount who spent time studying ground compaction told us to forget about a big tanker and trailing shoe etc. He said big wheels might not cut in but compacted ground the width of the wheels down to 1 metre deep depending on soils.🤔
Would a 1600 with dribble bar on 800's with a top hatch for distance work be a good option?
Either that or a tandem with crab steer

For every pound I spent on meal,all meal calves included, I got £2.48 back in October. That's much better than a rhi boiler. Probably be on nolan next week
Just wondering, are you including SFP and Mr Poots’ COVID money in your calculations? If you are ,you’re in for a hell of a shock in November. Especially if you have conacre to settle up!
