Northern Ireland Milk Price Tracker

It has been a bit of a sh1tty system to be fair.

The bit that got me, you can have 20,000 (or whatever it was) for a tanker, but you will probably need to knock 20% off that to have a chance of qualifying, then they double the amount of allocated funds after the application process.

A accountant requires herd list.
Surely silage quantity does not vary that much year on year, and if it has been a good growing year the volume is up but price is down.

Does everyone include silage in their dead stock in annual accounts? Do you follow APHIS numbers rigidly at year end also?

Ours doesn't include silage stocks to the best of my knowledge and I tell him whatever number of cattle we have according to aphis at the time he asks me for the figure.
