All MPs are elected on first past the post! The system has to be the same in every constituency in the UK.
I'm quite sure the PM has ordered her staff produce an analysis on how many extra seats this might produce, and she has thought it strong enough to go back on her word and call an election.

I think this will have more of a flavour of a by election and anything can happen. All bets are off. Problem is there is no real opposition party tp brexit. Tim farrey can't do it but he could spring a leak on the tory ship. Too many people still believe in the empire. Like the Romans those days are long gone

Agree. The system is the system across the UK. It's what the people do with it that makes the difference.
As for strategic voting - do you think this is the only place in the world that happens? Don't you think some Scottish conservative voters would consider voting labour to keep the SNP out?
The most democratically immoral action to my mind is the determination of one party to stand for westminster election, with the express purpose of denying all the citizens in the constituencies in which they win a democratic representation in parliament, by not turning up.

Nothing wrong with a white cow. Had them out a hour. Then it rained. Does my head in. Milk price will not put me out but the weather really demoralised me

Sheeps definitely are a problem. Taken on as a peace keeping excerise here. Milk up the mora on that nice grass.
