You’ll be wanting ones with gates that close behind the cows. Put some in without the backing gates about 10 years ago but haven’t used them the last few years, the ones we had were too unreliable and we had problems with certain cows hanging around them all day waiting to hammer other cows out of them and then steal their meal.

Have Fullwood OOPFs here for 20+years. Never give any bother. Only con, as said above, is bullying. Currently trying to sort gates.

Westfalia, don’t think we ever had all of them working on any one day, although they were bought 2nd hand so maybe that had an effect on their performance. Not feeding huge amounts of meal here, so just feed everything through the parlour now.

Trying to pay water Bill's,I have 6 meters,normally each has to be paid separately instead of grouped,I complain every time. Now you can only pay one meter during one phone calls I told them i was paying 6 now or none at all. Finished the call with, you can stick your Bill's up your ar$€ what a joke ni water.

Yes, I have 8 meters. Pain in the ar5e to work with. Solution was to go online and set them all up on DD. End of hassle.

Seen strong Dutch heifer calves yesterday, 4months old, take your pick.£430 each. Cheap way to replace stock if you have the extra grass
Send the water boys a cheque with the number of each meter in a list on the back. Only way to pay multiple meters at once. I tried but that was the only way, just getting them not to phone for each meter when overdue was a problem. 5 or 6 phone calls in one day!
