No drab here at all the last few mornings, still plenty of grass in front of cows and youngstock. 1st cut in over 2 weeks ago and can still see the stubble. Been going over it with thin slurry from the store, don't think there's any point sowing fertiliser at the minute. 2nd cut won't be hard to lift if it doesn't get a slap of rain.
Never like looking for rain but a wet night and a few cooler days would be welcome. Summer holidays aren't far away so there's hope yet.

You weren't up early enough to see it. 😂😝

Last week to me was perfect weather for working in. Loved it. Could take a whole summer of that with a wet night each week! Think this week will be a bit tougher though. Didn't sleep well last night.

Unfortunately I was, hen house alarm this morning, 25oC inside at 5am. Not normal for a Sunday morning thankfully.

I'm not saying it's for everyone but just an idea. if you had to buy setup for working with it would probably would be false economy. Have seen guys mixing granular urea DIY style unsure what the outcome would be.

Is the idea not to use ordinary fan nozzles on sprayer to get 100% n uptake via the leaf rather than being locked up in soil ?
Depends what liquid you use I'd looked at omex and they wanted the droplet nozels as they wanted it to bounce off the leaf and be taken into the soil. I think the foilier style is absorbed by the leaf but never really did much looking into it
