So my granda always told me said if you can afford to build a shed or buy cattle when prices are at their worst you’ll get it done cheaper and be in a better position when the good times come again.
The auld fellas weren't soft.

Interesting. When I asked my Lakeland rep why the big difference in our price and DF he told me DF’s bf base was now 4 and protein 3.25. I hope this proves him to be a liar as he also told me to expect 26ppl in October before the 3ppl winter bonus kicks in by November. 26p won’t buy much meal or pay electric.

Lakeland and Tirlan look to be in a similar position to Fane Valley back in around 2014/15

My mistake, it's actually 3.91 & 3.22 now, next year it's 3.95 & 3.24. The change will alter the quoted base by about .9 of a penny, so your rep must be using his "big book of salesman's excuses"

I don't think they saw demand dropping so far. Tirlan's current fixed price scheme, which started towards the end of last year, is paying (I think) either 36 or 37ppl, and it's not often that the processor is on the wrong side of that price by a large amount

Anybody know where to get these wee air fittings for orby feeders or even what they are called to search for them?
