Nostalgia videos

Having just watched this again as I can't find anything else interesting to do, what's the 'land leveller' thing about at about 1:33 minutes in? I've not seen one of them before. I can't imagine it working on ploughed heavy clay soils? Can anyone shed any more light on them please?
Same principle as a grader, the longer the beam the less influence the pitch of the tractor has. The link at the drawbar end reduces that further so the movement from the rough ground the tractor goes over doesn't affect the implement too much and it can leave a level surface. Could well be a leftover of WW2 for making improptu landing strips.

I remember the early days of potato harvesters but I’ve never seen one wrapped around a tractor like the one on that Nuffield, anyone know what make it was?
