To be fair , I'm over the "media" doing their nuts over the weather, "Dan the f@#%ing weather man" said last night that the weather is like 50 years ago, more like "49" years, unless its 2018 now and he wasn't even here in 1968!!! I remember the 10th of April 1968 and the weather quite well.... quite a bit of wind and rain (From the drive home in the Cortina Mk2 from Huntly).Family in AKL tell me worst Storm in 49 years is about to strike.

As for bad weather, everyone seems to have forgotten Cyclone Bola too
It is what it is, we have had half of our average rainfall in the last two months and the lower part of the farm has been under water four times too.
After all that was expected (here) , what a nonevent!!! a bit of rain ,nothing out of there ordinary, bugger all wind and now its sunny and quite warm.Family in AKL tell me worst Storm in 49 years is about to strike.

still not finished harvest?Pouring down in mid canty still, wheat is doing it's best to sprout after this months rain.
No. Decent harvest weather and yields until late Feb then the weather turned feral.Plenty of people have yet to finish.
Haven't done any more harvest, this weekend might be small window to put ruts in the land and get a pile of wet grain.
