The Union Jack conveniently features on the NZ flag too

Flag_of_New_Zealand.svg

Ok, I half expected that reply.

yep NZ has a the Union Jack integral to their flag.....and I’m grateful for that.

But look at the label again. But of blue and couple stars one side they prob mean nothing to the average consumer.

Yet on the left a very clear representation of the Union Jack that is recognisable to 95% of the population making them think it’s UK lamb.

Most buyers arnt going to look close enough to see it’s NZ lamb, they see a hint of Union Jack and think all good.....if they think at all about food origin.
