Great place okehampton
Other than someone in charge years ago was obsessed with traffic lights so on a occasions takes a long while to go not very far
Great agricultural show in August too
Good secondary school
Got a choice of Exeter or holsworthy livestock markets half hour away
Most important question for me is who did general Lee fancy in oke?
there is happy at crediton, he knows most women over 60,

i'm about 8 miles away. got mole avon for farming supplies fair few building supplies. two vet practice, wife works at one!!! lots of nice local villages with good pubs like winkleigh, north tawton and south zeal and spreyton to name a few. a lot of good farmers around and good characters!! local rugby teams and football teams.
dont forget North Lew where the devil died of the cold, or was it the flue.
wonderfull dairy area in dry periods, great snipe shooting in wetter times

Bugger. That very close to witch country. Anyone driven Folly gate towards Sourton Cross will have seen constant a line of filled in pot holes touching. Well that's Sister in laws landing strip for Broomstick Airways . The road wouldn't suffer so bad if she wore flat shoes:(
Uncle Tom turned his subaru a full 360 at Folly gate, the chap following said he never stopped, cousin said that explained the scratches in the roof then
