Old diesel

I have a 1000l of diesel that has been sitting unused in a tank for about 10 years. Its a cleanish tank and it’s full to the brim. Will it still be alright? I was going to pump it back into a tank with 10,000l in it.

I would be very concerned about additives. That fuel would have sulpher in it for lubrication of the pump and valve train. Not suire about over there, but here it has been removed for a number of years anfd would do internal damage as new engines are designed for it.

This is no help to you at all....
I have a saw bench driven by a 60 year old petter ph1 diesel which runs a lot better when I put a small amount of universal 2 stroke oil in fuel tank

9 times out of 10 folk would get away with it, but I guarantee if I put that old diesel in anything, knowing my luck it would have water in it and all sorts and be stopping tractors in their tracks for months after...

How do you leave a tank of derv 10 years without using it up?
It’s not derv. It’s in an old broken irrigation pump that has sat at the back of a shed forever. The diesel looks fine. I like the hire firm suggestion ? but I get on well with them so I probably won’t try that one!
