Old gen set

Bought this 35 years from the BBC down at Bristol.
Used as a standby for the dairy, but not run for 15 years.
Started Engine up on idle today, but decided against trying the generator.

Yeah, just put a battery on it and it fired straight up

Found a lister cs attached to a generator unit recently, waiting on a day I’ve got enough time to drain it down and lift it through the shop it’s in to get it back and see If it’s any good

I’ve a 27.5 kva magnicon of a similar age,they don’t build them like they did then,I still use mine.
