New gearbox will be in the new fendt tractors
Currently the one being used will be the one MF get to put in there new tractors.all ways one step behind
Every1 else is always 1 step behind fendt anyway. But how could fendt improve on thier vario seein as its as good as it gets for operational point of view

Probably for this reason we won't see Mf Dyna Vt until end of 2021.
They are waiting to release the new 800 Vario with VarioDrive technology i guess, so they can differentiate an 8S from an 800 vario.

One question, when will the 8S range be completed with the most powerful models up to 320hp?
And will they have the same three options transmission?

I don't believe for one minute that Fendt will keep producing an old version gearbox for wholesale. They have never done it in the past and it is very inefficient to do so. They have always supplied the latest current production units to their partners, be it MF/Valtra or JCB. The software controlling it and the driver interface has always been down to individual brands to sort for themselves.

Already happens, the Fendt 900 gen6 doesn’t have the same trasmission of the Mf8700s and Valtra S .

Glad you think so , MF & Fendt both have the same combine , but the fendt one is already a head of the MF , as fendt do not tell MF any thing on how to set it up or run run it , so are they going to do the same with a gearbox ? make your own mind up

But they are exactly the same combines. Not made by Fendt either so what would Fendt know about them that MF wouldn't?

As far as I am aware, AGCO have a harvest team for the combines that is completely brand agnostic. They work for AGCO and organise the combines through MF and Fendt and AGCO [American] dealers. They, AGCO, do not have duplicate specialist harvest teams for each dealer brand that the combine is sold through. The only difference in the combines between brands is the brand logo stuck on it AFTER it is sold to whichever dealership holds or chooses [because some dealerships might have both brand franchises]. The combines are made in Italy and the USA by AGCO not by MF or Fendt. The engines are now AGCO Power, not Sisu. The German transmission is now called the AGCO IVT officially.
