A chassis/cab version of a HiLux type vehicle with a full width flat tray and drop sides is so much more useful than what is sold in the UK as a pickup [emoji6]

As much as I'd like a pickup (preferably with an ally back) I just can't justify the loss of load space.

My farm ute is a long wheel base Iveco Daily.

I can get quad, 4 dogs and sh!t loads of fencing as well as all stock marker and meds in the back. And still have to tow bar free to move the handling system.

Even got a waterproof washable container for dead stock, with a pulley to help loading.

So it doesn't have 4wd. If I need to go off road, I'll take the quad.

Nearly all " farmer " or tradies Utes have a flat tray with drop sides, even the dual cab ones

Pickups like you lot drive are pretty much substitute cars for townies . . .

That's why they now have crap like electric windows, carpet & f**king softcock auto trans . . .
And before ANYONE says any different, a manual clutch still gives you far more control in difficult 4wd conditions than an auto does ( assuming you know how to drive )
