online CSS inspection

I have taken over a farm recently that has CSS on it.

Mainly option SW1 which is 4-6 m buffer strips on previously cultivated ground

I now have an inspection as detailed in the image.

I am a bit confused as what to do...

Do I supply invoices of seed purchased etc for the fields concerned which is into WW, Oats and fallow for spring peas?
Then list the ops done, such as ploughing, drilling & rolling - however no invoices for this
What about listing sprays applied and fert (before 1/09/20) if any?

As for photos - again I am a bit confused. Do I just take photos of random areas of grass strips? Then mark an x on an associated map where the photo was taken ?

Any input would be greatfully received

As Flat 10 says. I had one of these letters last Autumn with a friend. Wanted to check on Bird Cover Plots. Scheme entered Jan 2017.

We had invoices for seed. As for Field operations there were no separate invoices as he did the job with own machinery - so we simply typed up a list of the operations for each plot. So plough, power harrow, drill - with dates. And then took photo of each plot and marked on a map with an arrow the position we stood with camera and the angle of shot. 7 Plots - took us half a day by time we had visited each plot, taken photo, then in office marked up a Copy of the map - we used the CSS map - and uploaded photos and maps onto an email reply, though or computer skills are not great.

Faff - but sign up to the scheme and this may happen. At least it wasn't mid August harvest was the upside!!

We made no mention of the main part of field - not required and we did not want to confuse the Natural England staff.

Best of luck.
