Orbitrol 'flask'

Now Then..
Any chance of a picture??
Waste of time trying,it's almost out of sight. It has the shape and size of half a small lemonade bottle. A hose from the power steering pump is connected to the spout. I'm guessing the bottom of it has a fitting and is screwed into the port on the orbitrol.

Never seen one but I guess it's a damper to stop some of the viabration from the steering oil resonating up the steering column. The other fix for this was to drop the danfoss down and fill the splines with instant gasket.

that must be it although it looks smaller in this diagram. So it's a tank. I think MF Andy's explanation hits the mail on the head. I did read somewhere about vibration probs.
Thanks all.
