CCC was approved on OSR, then it wasn't, then it was, then (now) it isn't. From memory it didn't pull up any trees, not as effective as teb or met. Was a cheap option for those who just wanted to say they'd put a PGR on, e.g. to keep the combine driver happy. If I get a moment I will take a look in my archives - think it was late 90s, possibly at Morley and elsewhere chlormequat was tried. ARC I am sure did some trial - Fromebridge would know.
Not too bad looks goodThis is the crop, pigeons started on it about a month ago, but not too bad.

I wouldn't bother.
How angry a crop would have you reaching for Caryx? That doesn't need any caryx
Yep, but does it need impeding now? That crop has a lot of growing to do yet mind.

That looks like it has decent sized plants, but not overly thick. And your down south so probably ten days ahead of us. In my experience it's the thin stemmed, 10kg fss crops that lodge more readily. I'd be thinking of how to reduce stem splitting from fast growing crops, so would be looking at my soil analysis. How angry a crop would have you reaching for Caryx?
