Nart new in erosion its always happend

That's very true, this whole landscape & these soils I'm looking at are a result of millennia of erosion & weathering

However, at times human behaviour can greatly exacerbate this & cause lots of damage & pollution to waterways, roads, fencing & other infrastructure, not to mention the loss of £££ worth of nutrients & topsoil from our fields.

Historically Australian farming has suffered severe soil erosion

Soil conservation / erosion control has been a major focus here ( even on flat country ) for at least 40 yrs I'm personally aware of, & longer . . .

Our high intensity storm rainfall doesn't help either
