Overum ex plough problem

Overum Ex plough- when it’s turning over it’s only getting to half way, stopping and going back. Have noticed if the front furrow is about half way it goes over easier. Have changed the quick release couplings, tried a new valve block on the turn over ram & and it’s had new bearings on top and bottom of turn over ram... any ideas or suggestions.? People had problems in the past.?
Thanks

It's not the depth wheel affecting the balance in some way is it?

The older ploughs you could change the direction they turned over .
Not that would help necessarily

My dx needs the flow turned right down . Think its something like 12% for 16seconds
I found the opposite with mine on a maxxum 5150, needed the flow turned up full for the momentum to carry the the plough over top dead center where the change over happens. No problems on any of my other tractors.

Haven’t tried changing the hoses or looking at the turn over bearing or ram seals. So will try them and see if there’s any difference.
yes trieddifferent tractors on and different flow rates.

When you say it's easier with the front furrow half way this reminded me of a second hand lemken we bought, trying to set it to the tractor we ended up turning the tru-line turnbuckle the wrong way to the point the plough wouldn't turn over tdc.
It may just be the case that the turnbuckle has been adjusted at some point and too much weight now on the ram.
Also with that plough top link holes and lift heights made a difference, probably ram seals or valve springs but maybe something else to check

I'm sure it was something similar with my DX. At high flows the memory ram wasn't working properly , in stead of closing in fully , then turning plough right over to other side , then opening back out it was closing and turning at same time , then if it got over centre would still be turning but also opening back out but quite often just go so far then come back down on same side . Slowed it all down thinking valve block or ram was away but been fine ever since .

Will give it ago when I can next. But it's worked on the same flow rate(100%) for the last 4 years on 2 different tractors fine. But will give it ago and see.
