Own any land or farm fields

A friend and I have recently got into metal defectoring and love local history but are restricted as to where we can take them, if anyone has any spare land or fields that they wouldn’t mind us going over with them we would be happy to show and split 50/50 all finds with the owner. You would be surprised how much history you have under your land. Thanks and happy farming!

Apologies for being arsey, I hope you find somewhere and some "stuff".
It’s cool, thanks I hope so too as it is a good hobby although being restricted to beaches is frustrating as we would like to put these machines through there paces as they are a good few grands worth of kit

Metal Defectoring is a new one on me
Honestly?! Christ we’re always getting mithered by people wanting to come detectoring. As far as we know nothing interesting happened here. We get these clubs wanting to come on but I’ve got now as I say no. Whole farm has been detected to death over the last 20 years and I get sick of the little brown dead bits in summer where the divot dries out rather than grows. Nowt the detector lads can do about it 🤷🏻‍♂️ But it’s easier just not to bother now.

I haven’t mithered clearly just posted a thread asking for suggestions, it seems that your more agitated and want to take out your bad mood at 3am in the morning and you should be up to feed the chickens at 4.30. There should be no (dead bits) when a a correct plug is dug out of the ground from three sides the grass does not die. It sounds like your wife didn’t make you a good roast on Sunday and your still trying to take it out on whoever comes in your path, god help your cattle if one steps out of line when you round them up this week.

Errr I posted that at 10:56…

given that I’m probably the closest member to Manchester being 9 miles from the city centre I was going to drop you a private PM about a piece of ground I’ve just rented that’s getting ploughed in the spring. Thanks to that response I won’t bother. Have a nice day. 🖕🏻
