The Oxford Farming Conference (OFC) has launched its programme for the 2022 event, which is set to return to Oxford University in January of next year.
The event – taking place from Wednesday, January 5 to Friday, January 7 – will be centered around the theme ‘Routes to Resilience’. A variety of international speakers and sessions will cover trade, politics, science, climate, technology and more.
Among the 2022 speakers are EU Agriculture Commissioner, Janusz Wojciechowski; Prof. Sarah Bridle, who recently published Food and Climate Change – Without the Hot Air and will speaking at COP26, leading The Frank Parkinson Lecture; Dr. Catherine Nakalembe from NASA Harvest, exploring what agriculture can learn from science to improve resilience; and, the Inspiring Farmers session will include representation from all four corners of Great Britain sharing how they’ve forged their routes to resilience.
The conference will see a physical return to the examination halls and include a digital offering.
All sessions listed in the programme on Thursday, January 6, and Friday, January 7. It also includes access to the fringes on the Wednesday (January 5) but space is limited; the OFC recommend booking early
Dinner is not included but can be booked at the same time as a conference ticket, at an additional cost.
The digital ticket offers access to all on-demand content following the event, plus access to a live-stream of the following sessions:
