Thing to remember is that Oxygen does the cutting, propane/ acetylene only provides the heat. If your good, its poss to turn off the fuel gas once the cut has started. Our plasma cutter is the "Bees Knees" though. Purchased from a bankrupt sale, thickest material cut so far was steel 30 mm thick!

looks like 1/32 smallest PNM nozzle, they list a VVC nozle whatever that is -but they claim to cut quicker. Trouble is when i go cutting its usually scrap or some awkward to get at piece - plasma on single phase is alright in workshop and clean steel . other than that its the lethal weapon -9 inch angle grinder

All you need is propane nozzles. Don't waste money buying separate new kit never had any problems swapping between acytelene and propane used to do it regularly depending what was available at the time.

Do you run the pressures the same, or does propane need more oxygen?

To be honest way you in all me time burning I have never actually looked at what the pressure gauge says just adjust to suit the job I'm doing at the time. Don't usually have to change pressures much though when changing. You just have to be a bit more patient for the steel too heat up way proppane
