Am I right in thinking that my pa1 /2 cover me for slug pelleter and knapsack. As I took them in 1988 and my number is in the 800s .l am having issues with crop assurance.

No. Knapsack is 6. Can’t remember what pellets are.

Have a look on your certificate, it's on there what you are covered for.
I did mine in 91 and I'm covered for both on PA1 and PA2A.

The original cert's used to cover pretty much everything but FA seem to be unhappy with them these days.

The rules changed in the early 1990s. I took PA1-2 about 6 month before that so covers me for everything.

It’s on my bit of paper and nowt the assurance gestapo can do about it!

The first bit of your quote is my usual response to slug pellets and on occasion I’ve been very close to doing the 2nd part of your quote??

I was 1 year out so had to do separate PA6 last year did pa1 and 2 in mid 90s

You dont have a knapsack, its a garden sprayer and you don't use it on the farm. Those weeds in the yard? Done em with watering can.

I don't have a farm. My 2 paddocks are not farmed, I just keep them regularly cut just for the look of it. Does a member of the public need a PA6?

Only if they are using professional pesticides and not stuff bought out of a garden centre or similar

I thought recyling was the in thing. Why throw the garden centre bottle away when it can be recycled.

As I understand it, a gardener does not need tickets.
Further a company flogging pest control products, is under no obligation to sell product only to ticket holders.

Had to laugh at the red tractor inspector on that Mucky tv show who thought he was the bees knees for finding a bottle of something no longer on the list.

Tell them you do the yard with a lance on a bike sprayer. PA1 and 2 is ok for a bike sprayer. And you never use slug pellets
