Pallets or Plastic?

Hi, I have bought a load of Plastic staging, it was used to walk across solar panels, extremely tough and doesn't break when you walk across it, plenty of ventilation underneath, can anyone see an issue with using it?
Then I can get rid of all my wooden ones!

The plastic walkways turned up just as we started wrapping, so we put two down to see what they were like, but they were for in the barn originally.

Similar things I use can splinter and they'll be in the ground forever. Look ok on a sealed floor. A soil floor would need higher pallets if used to store hay imo.

why do you put your wrapped bales on pallets? is it for horse haylage?

I fetched 250 plastic pallets from a bacon importer next to Claas UK HQ. They fit inside each other like egg boxes when not used.
