Patchwork Blackbox replacement touch panel

We've cracked the touch panel on an old model blackbox. Screen works fine. Does anyone know the part number/source for a replacement?

Just been on the phone and it's going to be £185 for a repair and the won't do supply only on the touch panel. Does anyone know of a supplier of that part - screen itself works, just the touch panel required.

It's a 510 model.

I smashed the screen on my patchwork black box but it was the air model so might be different. I just bought a cheap amazone kindle tablet for £50 and downloaded the patchwork app

I might have one. Replaced the screen on mine but it was the version after the 510 I think. Had the white gps reciever on it. Bought two touch screens from China and a roll of sealing tape for round the edge.

I'll take a look.

Ah ok, mine had the white received but when out of the case the black lcd screen is separate to the touch screen (clear with aluminium frame)

Thinking about it, you might well be right. I’ll have a dig for the spare screen and take some measurements for you.

You’re definitely right, touch only.

165x100mm. Ribbon 4wire 45mm along long edge. Also have some tape, I think I could pop a dozen turns off the roll without disturbing it too much.
