I get plenty of abuse for my shitty draft Shetlands. I just laugh it off.

Don't forget that most breeds that are recording, do so as across breed BLUP, that with results such as ct scanning and Ram Compare, and Genomic values give quite surprisingly accurate results, a lot of folk out there madly catching lambs etc, but only within flock or cohort results, so fairly limited use by definition. Unfortunately we can't all be born with that special eye, like the top stock judge at Builth NSA, who put what could only be described as a deformed camel in top spot a few years back.

But late to reply in this post but for anyone who's still interested I have customers with flocks up to 3500 ewes SIGNET recording.. I don't think there's any limit on flock size. And as far as recording goes the largest flock ever in our system had 25000 sheep and goats. Dairy sheep being milked twice a day often recording 2500+ medicine records per day as they were synchronised breeding.
