Perkins v8

Hello got a Perkins v8 540 in a pump it seems to have a bad vibration on it at 1500rpm it’s fine at either side of them revs, there’s no smoke like it’s missing ect
Pumps driven with a fenner tyre coupling that I’ve lined up properly so shouldn’t be that

Is that not same engine as fitted to american masseys? They meant to giv plenty o bother. If you go on combine forum i think its called youl get ppl that know them top to bottom

Lined up how?
We use a laser align thingy to silly accuracy on hammer mills. Operators swear it makes a huge difference!

Solved it today Something must of pulled with welding and put pump out of line, dial mic on the flywheel and turning the engine and soon got it right
