Hi Everyone,
Like many others on here, I am hoping to find some land to shoot on in/around the Tamworth area in order to keep a lid on those pesky pigeon and crows (IAW GL26 & GL31 as they are now...!) as well as squirrels and other pest bird species once the new relevant General Licences are rolled out.
I have been rifle shooting for about 15 years and shotgun shooting for about 2 years - I am a member of BASC and despite my more limited 2 barrel experience compared to a rifle, i've been hitting the clays and also spent the winter on a local Pheasant & Duck shoot, as a beater and as a gun.
I'm 28, honest, trustworthy, work full time in the Aviation industry - but on shifts (3on, 3 off) so have weekday and weekend availability - and, as mentioned above, currently live on the outskirts of Tamworth, although all being well with the estate agents, i'll shortly be moving to Twycross.
I appreciate land permissions generally come from building a good rapport with farmers / land owners rather than some randomer knocking at the door or positing on a forum, but if you are having any pest issues, it would be great to discuss any possible arrangement further.
Many thanks.
