With the Waratah / Clipex type steel post / star picket which is the most common type of farm fence post here, they are fabulous things. At Council, road crew even use them for driving in sign posts & roadside guide posts

Hydraulic pecker on a 360 is the answer for that.

They're not light or easy things to handle.

They will put a wooden post in, but only in ground that you could put one in with a drival in 8 or 10 bumps, and that might be as easy, and cheaper!!!
