Pickstocks, Ashby

Anyone take lambs to them? Is the grading done by MLC or in house? The other place I take lambs, when the grade sheet comes back it is on MLC headed paper whereas at Pickstocks it was just a table and their name with no mention of MLC

Sent hoggs there, was pleasantly surprised how well they killed out.
I'd say for bigger lambs, where 20 or 22kg cap kills you, they're a very good outlet.

Haven’t got sheep
We are 2 miles away from them at coal lane and we use to take cattle there and they are a very good to deal with and very fair.
That is what we found

They seem to kill out well too. I’m not too impressed with the grades though. Sent some suffolks out of mules, came back Es and Us, then sent some nice beltex types, came back Rs
Kill out well due to the dressing spec. Neck, tails, kidneys and belly fat all left in. Most firms trim all them off.
Grading carried out independently by the MLC
