looking for a new pickup narrowed it down to the ford ranger wildrtrak 3.2 auto or the nissan navara tekna .which is best ( most comfortable /economical ) and reliable . thanks
Brake discs seem to be a problem on pickups,i know of 3 new D Max with the same issue, but they wont do them under warranty cos they say the pads are worn causing the warp... The 5 year warranty would sway me to the Mitsubishi,or Fiat.My 17 plate warrior has done 14,000 miles and so far has had warped brake disks changed under warranty and is going in on Thursday to have the gear box taken out because it keeps jumping out of third gear.
I’d definitely be looking at the ford or navara.
To be fair they didn’t even question the break pads they just sorted it under warranty they are doing the same with the gearbox but it’s been back and for like a yo yo and it’s starting to fry my brain.Brake discs seem to be a problem on pickups,i know of 3 new D Max with the same issue, but they wont do them under warranty cos they say the pads are worn causing the warp... Nissan 5 year warranty says a lot about their belief in their own product.
I've a Nissan after 5 rangers , and have no regrets in changing , pulling a trailer all time no probs so far , 2 years , 50k milesThe Nissan has 12 year corrosion and 5year on every else warranty which impressed me
