Pink aerosol for sheep

I only need one different colour. You're right I could mark them on their side somewhere but if I could find pink I can put scan mark on their backs which would be preferable as easier to see in the pens.

Sorry, by a scan mark on their loin, I did mean on the top. I don’t mark anything on their sides, as there’s not a lot of point if the mark is difficult to see.

Where do you put any marks currently?

For some reason i read flank, not loin! Tup mark goes on middle of the back. Shoulder wool rubs off on silage rings so usually put scan marks between tup mark and tail head. 1 dot for single, no dots for twins, 2 dots for triplets and 3 for quads.

Surprised the scanner lets you mark with aerosols as if they’re sat in the trailer the fumes etc is in their breathing space. Most around here insist on anything other than aerosols!!!

Scanner's preferred method of marking. We mark them as he says what they are. They're not in his breathing space though, he's under his little hood thing with his arm stuck out the side!

On a tangent have always found Ritchie Super the best but they must of changed supplier as it now smells funny and the nozzles are prone to falling off!:rolleyes::mad:

i bought a box of pig spray markers in a sale , they are all fluorescent pinks purples and greens , what i really need though is something to mark the black zwartbles fleeces , nothing lasts more than a few weeks
