Hi, I'm a new member on here looking for some advice on piping a ditch on the farm.
The ditch runs between our silage clamps and a new shed and we are hoping to pipe it to make moving machinery round the yard easier.
A builder piped a small section with 300mm diameter 2.5m long precast pipe a few years ago so would need to be the same material to fit into the existing.
What would I cover the pipe with to allow traffic over it? Few foot of hardcore then a blinding stone on top?
Also, how would I get the level correct as it is over 70m long? Will be opening the existing up with a 360. Haven't done anything like this before but trying to do it myself to save costs!
Thanks in advance.
