Can and will it work, if I put a plate cooler in upside-down as have a very small space to fit one and joint straight to Steel pipe on milk inlet and outlet, water is not problem, this is on a single stage.

outlet on bottom pipe goes down, if it goes up should have a drain on convention milking systems. This plate has the in/out on each end so which way up is only the label on a single pass.

This cooler is in/out on one end. So in/out must be at the bottom.

Looking at it, it's not going to drain if I put it in the right way up as no drain switch 🤔

It doesn't show which is milk in or out, does that mean it can the milk go in either inlet or will it only work with the milk flowing one way🤔

How often do you have to clean it? I put in a new one a few years ago and was told I'd never have to clean it again. That was a lie, probably twice a year.
First time in 14 and 1/2 years. We have had creeping up bactoscans in the last 6 months, looked at everything else first. I suppose it may not be the cause, but it’s very likely.

We put ours in upside down as practically zero milk wasted. If we’d done it as book said it would have been full at end of milking and air jet will only clear so much.
