Platts sawdust

we buy our sawdust in the summer in bulk, when the first load turned up half of it was white sawdust the rest was normal colour after that and the next load was normal,as we've got back towards the White sawdust now the bacto scan has been up and down like 15 some days 40 others days
After 2 weeks of changing things thinking it was the parlour or the tank etc etc we've nailed it down to this white sawdust!
Just wondering if anybody else has had issues with sawdust of platts before?

Second winter with platts and I've no complaints, other firms I've used before seemed to be so inconsistent with the quality of the product, you know the months it's going to be cheaper so buy a wagon load which will usually do a winter and then don't have to worry when the price goes up in the winter months

All I would say is , sawdust is a very variable product , depending on what sort of material is being reclaimed !
We have used mixed sawdust before now , but it tends to be a bit spikey to sit on and a bit solid in the bag .
Have been on the white sawdust this year and much better pleased with it!!
Who wouldn't want to have Dawn ringing you up??;)

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
