Please read and reflect !
The last week has seen another tragic loss in our farming industry and as a result a well respected farming family are mourning the loss of a fine young man who was a credit to both his family and British farming.
We are all busy and we work long hours, often alone, under pressure, operating machinery and handling livestock all of which conspire to make our farming environment one of the most dangerous known to man.
Our sons and family are much loved and our employees all have loved ones at home, all I ask is that amidst the busy, sometimes frantic lives we lead that we all reflect on what is really important in life, stay safe and come home safely.

Many Thanks

Any details? Nothing sensitive or personal obviously, but would be good to understand the circumstances so as to avoid more of the same.

My sentiments entirely.
The purpose of my original post was not for this specific incident to become the topic of conversation but to highlight such a tragic loss and remind us all what a dangerous industry we work in !
