The hydraulically operated cross shaft is one that should be allowed, I regulaly plough with a lot of people who are older than myself one is 87 and still ploughing but finds it difficult to move the plough over another one is 64 and regularly on here and is finding it difficult to to get about he has just bought a plough today and I think I will have to fit him up with a hydraulic cross shaft to enable him to keep ploughing it's time to revue some of the rules and add a bit of common sence

The dropper link can sometimes put these curves in and sometimes not at all. They require a little practice and fine tuning in use. By this I mean controlled dropping at precisely the right time combined with a little corrective steering. They are not foolproof but do prevent a poor front furrow for the last couple of feet.
