There rubbish connectors they don't seal properly. I take them all apart each year and blow them out and put wd40 in them. They fill with dust/ barley awns when baling.

You can get them from a Durite distributor. Most motor factors probably sell them eg Motor Parts Direct. If you want a sealed connector then a Deutsch DTP04-2P/DTP06-2S would be the best option (if high current).

Thanks.

Will get onto them.

The connector is in the cab so will be out of any muck and dust.

15p China special that I suspect. It’s more or less just a simple nylon shroud over the spade/blade contacts.

Don’t think it’s anything like an Amp, Molex or a JST connector. Very simple keyway too
they are about as basic as it gets arent they altho if there was ever a concern that the leads would be accidentally swapped its best with the right plug, indeed its best with the right plug full stop but the spade connectors will get you out of a hank.

RS is great for that stuff, next day delivery is excellent.
Farnell is handy too when you cant get it in the other place.
failing that the bay can come up with some cheap alternatives but postage isnt next day just.

i do pack them with grease if in the open like that, i used Vaseline once but found out when things get warm it fecks off so i cut that out.
i do smather grease on the bulb connectors as well, originally i was concerned it might be conductive but never had that problem with it.

The stuff to use is "dielectric grease". Non-conductive except where metal meets metal (within the connector) and is waterproof. Cheap enough for a small tin off Ebay. Do it right, do it once.

If it was me, I'd nip along to my nearest scrap dealer and snip half a dozen connectors of different types with plenty of wire each side. Then solder the wires in with shrink wrap over the join. Job done. But then I'm a skinflint!:)
