Faulty or poor design?Pops open if there's a bit of pressure on it?
Poor design maybe the catches aren't the best and the door can slide left to right on the hinges then it doesn't have much holdFaulty or poor design?
Wont stay shut have to tie it with cordWhat's wrong with it?
Ours is the same. Pleased with it otherwise though.Polaris ranger tail gate problems £20,000 machine very pleased with machine but tailgate is crap complained lots of times and still the same, what are people's thoughts on this matter
Time it was sorted out spoiling a good machineOurs is the same. Pleased with it otherwise though.
Sometimes the door pops open and a sheep can get out but I'm certain if I didn't have canopy on I'd never keep a sheep inOurs didn’t start popping open until we put a canopy on the tub . I think the weight of the canopy pushes the sides out and disconnects the latches .
I think it help save the catches if you pull the handle when your shutting it. If you just push it shut, that several times a day rounds the edges of the catches off and makes it easier to pop open. The door also can move side to side alot on the hinges I made a spacer for the last one to take the movement out that helped alot.I use my tailgate on my Ranger several times a day for the last 7 years and over the last three years my tailgate started acting up where it will release 1 side of the catch. Always the same side. I suppose I could replace that spring. Someday. For now I am going downhill with a load in the back. That seems to work.
That is a good idea. I will have a look at it. Mine is a 2016.I made a spacer for the last one to take the movement out that helped alot
