Anyone hazard a guess what might be wrong with this boy, started off a bit slow but now gets about on front knees only?

Doesn't look like joint I'll is why I was asking, joints are very free and seem normal but he has been on lincosin and betamox just in case, the ewe is very good and stands to let him suck but another cpl of days and no improvement I'm afraid as someone said the outcome isn't looking great, have him inside so atleast he is comfortable for now.

They can get it in the spine, which in the ones I've had, leads to that crouching.

Could it be erysipelas joint ill? The joints might not be as swollen or soft as typical joint ill, the limbs may even feel colder than normal. Place I worked at years ago had a lot of problems with it one year. Lambs would lie down and be very reluctant to move, lost condition rapidly. I seem to remember having to jab them with penicillin for 5 or 6 days.
