Dear reader

We are a group of researchers at the University of Liverpool who are researching possible transmission routes for digital dermatitis.

Last year, we ran a short survey to understand hygiene practices carried out during foot trimming. The results of this survey can be found in the final link below and also summarised in this short video:

Using the results of this first survey we have developed an evidenced based protocol for improved hygiene during foot trimming: https://ahdb.org.uk/reducing-spread-of-DD

This is a second post for a short further survey we are now running. Thank you to those who have already completed it.

There is still time to complete this further survey on current foot trimming practices. Please find follow this link for more information and a link to the survey: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/infecti...research/bovine-digital-dermatitis/follow_up/

For those who complete the survey there will be a chance to be placed in a prize draw for Amazon vouchers.

(Please note, you do not have to had completed our first survey to be able to take part in this further survey, we are interested to hear from as many as possible)
