If it was starting at 250 then 10 a week. You ought to have some of that. But I think that they could start of at 300 for November. We are in a worse position this year compared to 2 years ago and that’s where I was in December. I’m 5 weeks late planting so yields will be down. Coupled with reduced acreage planted. I hope we are on a win win this year. I’ve got a wife to keep pleased [emoji3]

Like it. I also have no problems keeping her pleased in that department. It’s when it comes to holidays, house items, horses etc. I struggle.

Yes, took 3 weeks off work to plant and rained off each day I go out.

Would people rent it without water? I wouldn’t, too risky with such an expensive crop to grow.

I am currently dykeing & jetting on a field, the disco nearly got stuck today 10 years from a dyke.
Planting is underway around us now but it's a matter of picking the light fields.

Plenty growers will be paying £500+ /ac up here for grade 3 with no irrigation
