PPI insurance on tractor finance

Can this be claimed back as normal ppi ?
Can I even find out if I paid any ? I certainly didn't ask for it but it has been suggested it was included anywy

I've been trying both as an individual, and via a PPI claim company for years.

No joy. From 1972, through decades, all farm expansion was done with finance companies and a monthly payment. Tractors, bulk tank, big machinery, fertiliser were all done this way to spread cost. I have the amounts paid and reference numbers, but no paperwork. And so far, no PPI

PPI was mostly used on personal credit not business

But there maybe exceptions

Deadline to claim is approaching quickly so not long left as I understand things for anyone with a claim

I wasn't actually aware of paying insurance but I've heard it suggested it may have been included

No, but if I do will they actually tell me ?

I believe that they will. That’s certainly all the claim companies do - they approach any bank or loan company you’ve had and ask them for an honest statement. Strange to believe, but apparently the banks are honest back.

Have you still got the HP agreement? Any charges will be shown on there, including insurance.
Could be either way on CNH capital, PPI not always charged.

There's big penalties if they aren't honest in their replies & it's not worth the risk for them.
