Preserving a restored tractor over winter.

What's the best way to preserve a freshly restored tractor over the winter. It is kept spotless and kept in a shed always. My worry is that condensation is a slight problem in the shed every now and then over winter.

Will a mix or oil and diesel be best sprayed over the tractor or just a coat of polish?

A product that is often recommended for protection of motorcycles is ACF50 - it's i bit like very runny waxoil. Leave it on all winter and it protects from moisture and salt etc. Quite expensive but should do the job.
