Problem with massey ferguson 3050

Hi so i have an problem with massey ferguson 3050 the front axle is not turning off when i start the tractor the green light pops up and when it worms up i can turn off the light but the front axle dosn't turn off. When i lifted front axle i can't spin the wheels so i think that means its ok but how to turn it off i don't know when i do quick turn the out wheel spin and makes traks do anyone know why?

it wont go into 2wd untill the tractor moves forward then it should go into 2wd i think thats what the problem is ?

No the it won't go 2wd when the light is gone its still in 4wd and im serching why maybe the wire is broken we will se. Thanks for the help

Do you have 12v at the 4wd solenoid? Is the diff lock working ok?

Yeah the dif lock works i don't know about the soleboic where is it located ?

bottom solanoid is 4wd you need power at it to make it 2wd they can fail take the round nut off the end and slide the coil off then take it out and test it you should see the piston go in. they do get bent so are stuck one way or other. remember its oil pressure that makes it 2wd

It's written on the casting. It will say 4rm

Okay so solanoid dosn't get any power there comes 2wires and i tired cheking is no there power to it

put power direct to the solanoid from the battery and see if it goes to 2wd. at least you then know if its electrical or mechanical fault

OP says the light turns off, if brakes are not pressed, light will not go out either iirc.

Yes, he also says that the light goes off when it warms up. Temperature isn't the reason that the light goes off.

So i tired that and i think thats solanoids problem

swop it with the next solanoid up and see if it works then
